SHR on my OpenMoko, Nov 2009

On 19.11.09 the heroic SHR team released a long-awaited new version of SHR. Here are my notes about using it.

I then rebooted the phone a second time. Settings->Connectivity let me set my APN to mobile.o2.co.uk, after which GPRS worked. That said, I found that often the phone would not work properly (suspend, make calls) after I brought a GPRS connection down, and required a reboot.

Settings->Phone let me set my country code to 44, after which incoming call lookup worked.

Update

After the phone has been up a while, the audio stops working on both in and outbound calls. This is a show-stopper for me, so after posting to the list about the problem, I reverted back to SHR-U Sep09.
